Our Peranakan Style is designed by Liem Ping Wie, one of the oldest batik makers in Indonesia, well known for their fine batik works. The full hand-drawn batik by Liem Ping Wie fabric is prized for its intricate designs and the level of skill required to create it.

Material: Cotton Primissima, the first-grade quality cotton usually made for fine-art batik.



Making process: Hand painting batik technique.

Process around 6-8 months to finish 1 batik.

Hipwrap (Kain Panjang) Double Sided Full Hand Drawn Batik PERANAKAN Style

Double-sided hand-drawn batik is a collector piece, using size 0 canting (the smallest tool) and the process takes a minimal 9 times colouring. it has to be done very carefully and takes more time, the pattern is very clear on both sides.

The full hand-drawn batik double-sided is particularly prized and is often passed down from generation to generation as a family heirloom.
