Tok wee is a cloth that is used to close the altar table of prayer.
As a symbol of gratitude to the Gods, ancestors and important people. Elaborately decorated altar cloths reflecting elements of Buddhism were important items in Chinese temples and households to ensure prosperity, wealth and well-being.
Tok wi with various gods on the upper chamber and mythological animals on the lower chamber such as : phoenix and qilin.
